DIRECTORS NOMINATING PROCESS
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has begun their annual Board
of Directors nominating process for the 2004-2005 fiscal year. Attached is a list of the
current Board of Directors and a separate list of those Members who represent Miami
Beach whose term will expire at the end of September 2004.
I will be forwarding a list of candidates to be considered for a Board appointment and
would like to solicit suggestions from each of you of candidates whom you think would
represent the City well.
The GMCVB nominating committee is meeting on June 11, 2004. Therefore, please
forward any suggestions you may have by Tuesday, June 8, 2004 and include the
following information on each candidate: name, title, company, address, phone numbers
and reason for Board consideration.
Please note, while the attached letter was received on April 19, 2004, the attachment
with the current list of those members who represent Miami Beach whose term will
expire at the end of September 2004 was incorrect. A corrected list of members was
not received until yesterday.
