As an update to LTC #120-2004, attached please find a notice and invitation to attend a
joint workshop meeting that will be held under the mandate of the Interlocal Agreement for
School Facility Planning, to provide opportunities for the County Commission, City
Commissions and City Councils, and the School Boards to hear reports, discuss policy and
set direction regarding coordination of land use and school facility planning and other
related issues. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 11,2004 from 8:45 a.m. to noon
at Parrot Jungle Island Jacaranda Room.

The workshop will be held under the auspices of the Interlocal Agreement
for School Facility Planning to provide opportunities to hear reports,
discuss policy and set direction regarding coordination of land use and
school facility planning and other related issues. Your personal
participation is highly encouraged, as the workshop will include a
facilitated discussion session among elected officials aimed at setting the
direction for the implementation of the Interlocal Agreement over the next
year and beyond.
Continental breakfast will be provided. To help us make our catering
plans and have an adequate supply of meeting material, please RSVP by
June 4, 2004.

Parrot Jungle Island is located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, off 395, between Downtown Miami
and South Beach
From 1-95
Take 395 East (MacArthur Causeway), make a right on Parrot Jungle Trail which is the first exit
after the bridge. Follow the road around and under the causeway to the parking garage on the
left-hand side.
From the East
Take 395 West (MacArthur Causeway), make a right by the Miami Yacht Club which is the first
exit after Palm Island. Look for Parrot Jungle Trail and follow it until you get to the paring garage
on the right-hand side.
