The Miami Beach Community Development Corporation (MBCDC) will be conducting a free
homebuyer workshop for the benefit of the City staff on Tuesday, August 10th, from 12:30 p.m. to
3:00 p.m., in the First Floor Conference Room. The workshop will offer an opportunity for
participants to learn how to become homeowners, and it includes the following topics: Credit,
budgeting, personal finances, shopping for a home, applying for a loan, closing the deal, and life as
a homeowner. City staff does not need to RSVP. For additional information on this event, please
contact the Housing and Community Development Division at extension # 7260.
