CULTURAL CAMPUS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE - APPOINTMENT OF
NEW MEMBERS DUE TO TWO RESIGNATIONS
Mr. Jay Miller resigned from the Cultural Campus Oversight Committee because he is relocating to
north Florida; he was the financial representative to the Committee. Ms. Harriet Schwanke resigned
from the Committee because she retired from the Miami-Dade Public Library Services Department;
she was the Library representative on the Committee.
I have appointed Mr. Donald Chauncey, Manager of the Miami Beach Branch Library; and Mr.
Phillip Morris, who has a background in construction management and worked for the National
Hotel prior to its opening, to the Cultural Campus Oversight Committee.
Commissioner Nancy Liebman, Chair of the Cultural Campus Oversight Committee, has approved
these appointments. Please confirm your acceptance of these two appointments to the Cultural
Campus Oversight Committee, as soon as possible.
