GRADUATION FROM THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY'S
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM BY POLICE
MAJOR NICOLAS LLUY.
This Letter to the Commission is to advise the Mayor and City Commissioners of the recent
graduation of Police Major Nicolas Lluy from the prestigious North Carolina State University's
Administrative Officers Management Program.
Major Lluy attended the Administrative Officers Management Program 24th Class that was held from
May 10, 1999 to July 30, 1999. This twelve-week course is designed to prepare upper and mid-level
law enforcement managers and supervisors for senior management positions. Major Lluy's studies
included the subjects of management and environment, organizational theory and behavior, human
resource administration, and skills for planning and analysis. Maj or Lluy excelled academically and
was elected by his classmates to represent them as Class vice-president
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Major Lluy on this wonderful achievement.
Major Lluy is another example of the fine and professional men and women who work in our Police
Department.
