A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE
PRESERVATION OF THE "MIAMI CIRCLE."
WHEREAS, an archeological site was recently discovered in Miami's
Brickell Point; and
WHEREAS, it believed to be a sacred Tequesta Indian tribe site; and
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1999, the City of Miami Beach supports the
preservation of the "Miami Circle."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR
AND CITY COMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the
Mayor and City Commission ]herein support the preservation of the Miami Circle.
