Subject: PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE FOR WASHINGTON AVENUE
Preparatory work on Washington Avenue began in August and is ongoing, Attached please
find the contractor's current schedule for full project implementation. Please note that work
will be done in a maximum of two (2) three block work zones separated by two blocks,
The current schedule shows a start date for the main Washington Avenue corridor of early
December. It should be understood that the schedule is being driven by the permitting for
the injection wells that are part of the stormwater drainage system. If the permitting process
with the regulatory agency gets delayed, then the start date for the project may slip.
Two-way traffic will be maintained, and business access will be provided at all times. The
business community as well as area residents are being kept informed through the
outreach efforts of the contractor's public information officer.
