This Letter to the City Commission is to invite the Mayor and Commissioners to attend the
Grand Opening of the South Point RDA Satellite Office at 200 2nd Street. The celebration
will take place on December 4, 2004 from 11 :00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the ribbon cutting
ceremony taking place at 11 :30 a.m. This grand opening celebration will give the South
Pointe neighborhood the opportunity to meet their RDA officers. Special events will include
a K9 demonstration, a tour of the SWAT van, a dunking booth with surprise guests,
McGruftthe Crime Dog, free Crime Prevention Information, Bicycle Registration, free Gun
Lock give-aways, and free DNA Kits for children. The Miami Beach Senior High School
Jazz Band will also be performing.
Please RSVP to Tricia Reeder at extension 7925 if you will be able to attend the ribbon
cutting ceremony.

and Dolce Vito Ice Cream, Everyone is invited to come and meet the Officers assigned to your RDA community. Some
