The Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate the Holiday season with a range of programs
designed to fit the interests and needs of residents of all ages. You are cordially invited to attend
the following Holiday events:
At the 21st Street Recreation Center:
. December 11, 2004, 7:00 - 9:00 PM, North Shore Margaret M. Swett Social Club (for
developmentally disabled adults) Holiday Party. Food, dancing, and a visit from someone
special.
. December 15, 2004 7:00 - 9:00 PM HOliday Extravaganza. Spectacle of talent from City
employees and participants in our Parks and Recreation programs. Free.
. December 17, 200410:00 AM -12:00 PM Play School Holiday Show
. December 18, 2004 7:00 - 9:00 PM Community Centers Holiday Party. Adult and
Seniors celebrate the holidays with music and refreshments.
At the Scott Rakow Youth Center:
. December 15, 5:30 - 6:30 PM, Holiday Show performed by Youth Center members.
. December 30, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Holiday Party for youth campers and staff.
At the North Shore Park & Youth Center:
. December 17, 7:30 PM, Ebony Scrooge, a modern Christmas carol directed and produced
by the North Shore Park Youth Center staff. Free.
. December 20, 10:00 AM, Senior Ceramics Holiday Party
At Flamingo Park:
. December 17, 3:00 PM, PAL IFlamingo Park Holiday Party. Afterschool program.
. December 17,11 :00 AM, PAUFlamingo Park Playtime Holiday Party (3year Olds)
