This Letter to the City Commission is to provide information on the 2005 Crime Prevention
Fair being planned by the Police Department. The Crime Prevention Fair will take place on
January 22,2005 from noon till 4:00 p.m. on the 1000 block of Lincoln Road.
This event will provide information on safety and security products to the residential and
business communities of Miami Beach. There will be presentations regarding alarms,
locks and keys, lighting, window protection and how to secure automobiles and other
possessions. Free Gun locks, DNA kits and other anti-theft devices will be given to a
limited number of the first attendees to arrive.
