The Miami International Boat and Sailboat Show is the greatest boat show in the world. The show will be open from February 17 through 21, 2005. Show hours are Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday - Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, the Yacht Brokerage Show is held on Indian Creek Waterway (February 17 - 21). The Boat Show adds increased traffic and parking demands and the City appreciates the public's patience during this period. The Show will host a series of sunset events and many special activities throughout the show hours to attract and entertain visitors. For up to date information, visit their website at www.miamiboatshow.com. Due to increased traffic and parking availability, the City of Miami Beach Parking Department offers a park and ride program. Flat parking rates will vary between $2 and $10 contingent upon proximity to the event. Pedestrian hotel guests ride for free including Electrowave shuttle. The Boat Show's economic impact far surpasses that of other boat shows held in Florida. Miami has a solid reputation as the marine industry's premier event and a long history of attracting serious buyers from around the world. In 2003, the Boat Show generated over $600 million in sales and an economic impact on the City's business community of over $13 million.
