I have filed the necessary paperwork with the City Clerk's office to run for public office in Miami
:Beach. I have decided that as a candidate for the Miami Beach City CommissioD seat in group 1,
that to avoid even the slightest appearance of impartiality, it is an appropriate action for me to
relinquish my seat on the Planning Board effective immediately. I have truly enjoyed working
lVith you for the past 3 years on many of the imponant issues we have faced, and I look forward
10 continuing my relationship with you and all of the other outstanding members of the Planning
Board as a member of the City Commission after the election in November.
