Subject: "Eggstravaganza 2 05" Was an Eggcellent Success
More than 1,400 kids and parents came out for the Spring Eggstravaganza 2005 held
Saturday, March 26, 2005, at North Shore Open Space Park. The event ran from 10:00
a.m. -12:30 p.m., with the highlight being the 11 :00 a.m. egg hunt. Additionally, children
posed for photos with Mr. & Mrs. Cottontail, had their faces painted, enjoyed amusement
rides, participated in arts & crafts and ate refreshments.

Eggstravaganza observed the City's 90th birthday with color book activities and with regular
announcements throughout the event promoting upcoming birthday-related activities.
Attached for your enjoyment are funshots of the event, some of which will be published in
the upcoming Summer 2005 Recreation Review magazine.
