PROPOSED EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF CITYVVlDE CORPORATE MARKETING AND
SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM RFP 06-04~05
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update the Mayor and City Commission on
the RFP for the development and implementation of Citywide Corporate Marketing and
Sponsorship Program RFP which was recently received by the City of Miami Beach.
I am considering appointing the following people to the evaluation committee:
Max Sklar, Director, Tourism Cultural Development - Evaluation Committee Chair
Julio Magrisso, Assistant Director, Parks & Recreation
Jorge Gomez, Director of Planning & Development
Grisette Roque-Marcos, Executive Director of Miami Beach VCA
Ricky Arriola, Currently serves as a member of CAC, Previous Charter Committee Member
and private business owner, Resident
Barbara Gelber, Chair of the Parks & Recreation Board, Resident
Lisa Austin, Chair of the Scott Rakow Youth Center Advisory Board, Resident
Alternate: Dennis Bruce, Resident, Member of Scott Rakow Youth Center Advisory Board
If you would like to suggest other members to be considered for the Evaluation Committee,
please send it to my attention by April 19, 2005, so we may formalize the committee and let
them begin the review process of the RFP's received.
