Pursuant to Ordinance No. 93-2868 an election was held by the City Clerk's office on July
11, 2005, to fill a vacancy on the Personnel Board representing Group 1 employees
(employees of the Police Department, Fire Department and Beach Patrol). There were a
total of 26 votes cast; with 7 votes for Robert Bedell and 19 votes for Renato Sejas.
Mr. Renato Sejas is elected to represent the Group 1 members for a term of three (3) years
beginning on August 1, 2005 and ending on July 31, 2008.

COUNTY OF MIAMI-DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspector, do hereby certify, that we held and conducted
an election of the members of Group 1, employees of the Police Department, the Fire
Department and Beach Patrol Department of the City of Miami Beach, at City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, on July 11, 2005, for the purpose of electing a member of the
Personnel Board to represent Group 1; that the polls were open from 7:00 A.M. until 6:00
P.M., we proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots, and found the results of
said Election to be as follows:
THAT there were a total of 26 votes cast.
THAT:
07 votes were cast for Robert Bedell
19 votes were cast for Renato Sejas
