SUBJECT: 2006 Spring Break Hotel and Nighffife Crime Awareness Seminar
This Letter to the City Commission is to provide information on the 2006 Spring Break Hotel
and Nightlife Crime Awareness Seminar. This event will be held on Wednesday, February
22, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the Second Floor Training Room at the Police Department.
Topics for discussion will include:
· Sexual Battery
· Date Rape Drugs
· Prostitution
· Credit Card Fraud
· Hotel Burglaries
This seminar will further the Police Department's crime prevention efforts in the
Entertainment District and help foster a safe environment for the multitude of visitors to our
City during the Spring Break period.
