SUBJECT: James Mazer- Resignation
This Letter to the Commission is to provide you with information regarding the Code
Compliance Division within the City's Neighborhood Services Department.
James Mazer, who served as the Code Compliance Division Director, submitted his
resignation, and has taken a new assignment with the Miami-Dade County Inspector
General's Office. We thank Jim for his many years of service to this community and to
City Govemment, and we wish him much success in his new position.
Jimmy McMillion, Special Projects Coordinator for the Neighborhood Services
Department, is serving as Acting Code Compliance Division Director while we conduct a
recruitment for a permanent replacement. Jimmy can be reached at extension 6805.
