Subject: Evaluation Committee Related to equest for Proposals (RFP) No. 09-05/06 -
Grounds Maintenance Services for Parks and Recreation.
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on Request for Proposals (RFP)
No. 09-05/06, which seeks responses from licensed and high performing contractors with strong
professional qualifications in grounds maintenance services, at the discretion of the City Commission.
Pursuant to the City Key Intended Outcome to maintain and enhance the cleanliness levels throughout
the community, the successful contractor must perform the following work tasks under any awarded
contract:
. The furnishing of all labor, machinery, tools, means of transportation, supplies, equipment,
materials, services and incidentals necessary to provide complete landscape maintenance
services as specified herein;
. Litter Retrieval and waste disposal;
. Mowing, edging, and landscape maintenance;
. Herbicide/insecticide application;
. Turf management and athletic field turf management;
. Irrigation system operation maintenance; and
. Repair and replacement of plants as required.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee on the
above subject RFP:
