SUBJECT: Spring Eggstravaganza
"Spring Eggstravaganza" 2006 was one of the most successful in the history of the event.
More than 800 children and adults enjoyed carnival rides, face-painting, arts & crafts and
clowns from 1 0:00 a.m. - 1 :00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 at North Shore Park Youth
Center.
A 12-ft tall stilt-walker towered over the crowd in a partnership with the Miami Performing Arts
Center. Through a Walgreens partnership, families received free digital portraits with Mr. &
Ms. Bunny. Official mascot "Buddy" was a favorite hang-out friend. And, North Shore Teen
Club members sold hot dogs, drinks, and icees.
Of course the highlight of the day was the egg hunt, where children of all ages ran to collect
dozens of colorful eggs filled with toys and candy. We hope you enjoy the attached photos.
