SUBJECT: "Miami Beach Goes Latin" Is the Theme of the 2006 Playground
Revue
This year's Parks & Recreation Department's Playground Revue is "hot, hot, hot"! The 63rd
annual program celebrates our great Latin culture. This year's performances are scheduled
for 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at the Jackie Gleason Theater of the
Performing Arts.
Adding to the fun will be celebrity emcees from Fox TV Channel 7. News anchor Craig
Stevens will open the evening show. The afternoon celebrity emcee is a surprise. The
Playground Revue is one of the highlights of each summer camp season. Kindergarten
through 1 ih graders acts out song and dance routines to full audiences of proud parents,
relatives and guests.
