SUBJECT: COMMUNITY WORKSHOP TO RECEIVE INPUT ON ACTIVE/PASSIVE
RECREATIONAL USES FOR FLAMINGO PARK
Community leaders and City Administrators are invited to participate in a workshop on Tuesday, March 7,
2000 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to discuss active/passive recreational uses for Flamingo Park. Specifically
the workshop will focus on answering the following questions:
. Who will Flamingo Park serve?
. How will it serve them? What types of active/passive recreational uses could be accommodated in
the park?
Members of the City Commission and the General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee are invited to
attend the workshop.
