NORTH SHORE PARK AND YOUTH CENTER PROGRAM
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The City of Miami Beach is excited about plans for renovation and enhancement of North Shore Park and
Youth Center, The City has committed $6,2 million to build a new youth center facility, ballfields, tennis
courts and renovations to the oceanfront bandshell and activity center, The new construction is scheduled to
go out to bid May 2000, With the plans in place, we want to focus on programming for the park, The
following individuals will be asked to participate as a steering committee to assist the city with community
input in answering the following questions:
1, Who will the park serve?
2, How will it serve them? What type of programs are needed?
