Personnel Board Group III Election

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 93-2868 an election was held by the City Clerk's office on
July 25 through July 28, 2006, to fill a vacancy on the Personnel Board representing
Group III employees. There were a total of 54 votes cast; with 33 votes for Jimmie W.
Newton and 21 votes for John Ardila.
Mr. Jimmie W. Newton is elected to represent the Group III members for a term of three
(3) years beginning on August 1,2006 and ending on July 31, 2009.
Group I: Consists of Police Department, Fire Department and Beach Patrol Department employees
Group II: Consists of employees in clerical and executive positions
Group III: Consists of all other employees

COUNTY OF MIAMI-DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspector, do hereby certify, that we held and
conducted an election of the members of Group III employees of the City of Miami
Beach at City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, for the purpose of electing a
member of the Personnel Board to represent Group III. That the polls were open on
July 25 through July 28, 2006 from 8:30 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. That we proceeded to
open the ballot box on Friday, July 28,2006 at 5:01 P.M. and count the ballots, and
found the results of said Election to be as follows:
THAT there were a total of 54 votes cast.
THAT:
33 votes were cast for Jimmie W. Newlon
21 votes were cast for John Ardila
