Shall Chapter 23414, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1945, being Article XVIII
of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, Florida and appearing Section 121
through 150 thereof, be amended in such manner so as to provide reduced retirement,
disability and other benefits for new member of the Police and Fireman's Pension
Systems (those who became members on or after July 1, 1967)?
Question No. 2:
Shall Chapter 23414, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1945, being Article XVIII of the
Charter of the City of Miami Beach, Florida and appearing as Section 121
through 150 thereof, be amended so as to provide that the Board shall have the power,
by appropriate regulation or resolution, to provide for the acquisition of total exemption
and qualified status from the United States Internal Revenue Service?
( The Actuary has determined that the forgoing amendment does not involve any costs
to the City.)
