Question No. 1:
Shall the City of Miami Beach issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed twenty-two
million ($22,000,000.00) dollars, bearing interest at a rate or rates as may be determined at the time
of the sale thereof, not exceeding the maximum legal rate of interest at such time, for structural
and acoustical additions, renovations, and improvements to the Theater of the Performing Arts?
Question No. 2:
Shall Chapter 26027, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1949 being Article VII, 40 through 42, of the
Related Laws of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, be amended to provide for flexibility in number of
Library Board Trustee members; defining duties of Boards; providing that all personnel except unclassified
personnel be appointed in accordance with the Civil Service Act, and repeating provision of said Article
contrary thereto; changing City County to City Commission?
Question No. 3:
Shall Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach be amended to: provide that future adult
congregate living facilities and nursing home zoning ordinances be approved by the electorate; provide
for unanimous conditional use approval by the City Commission for adult congregate living facilities
and nursing homes; provide for a health advisory board; require density variances for low income
housing projects be approved by referendum?
