Subject: Evaluation Committee Related to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 34-05/06
Provide Unarmed Security Guards.
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on Request for Proposals
(RFP) No. 34-05/06, which seeks responses from licensed and high performing contractors with
strong professional qualifications to provide Unarmed Security Guard Services.
Pursuant to the City Key Intended Outcome to Increase Resident Ratings of Public Safety
Services, the City's Police Department is in need of a "best value" solution.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee on the
above subject RFP:
Tim O'Regan, Security Administrator, CMB Police Department
Raymond Martinez, Assistant Chief of Police, CMB Police Department
Peter McElwain: Assistant Director, CMB Bass Museum
Chuck Adams, Assistant Parking Director, CMB Parking Department
Martha Iglesias, Miami Beach Resident
Paul Segel man, Captain, Miami Beach Boardwalk Citizen Patrol
Humberto Llanes, Leadership Academy Graduate
