They bave expressed this thought in the public school buildings cov- ,ering the district. All are attrac- tive, modern and built for this .climate, which means of airy de- :sign with an appeal to the senses in their coloring. The buildings correspond to a city of Miami's .attainments and magnitude, which will tell the story in a concise form, and they range from pri- mary to -junior and senior high :school grades. Courses are offered in the College or Arts leading to the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science degrees, engineering, law, business administration, education, music and art. It also offers courses for adults, in both day and evening classes. Lectures and concerts are given at the University as well as at various locations throughout the Miami district. Those who wish to enter their children in private schools will find Miami amply provided with them in the Coburn School, for younger children; the Cushman School, from kindergarten to 8th grade; the Harris School, and the Miami Military Academy of Coral Gables. Miami offers health with studies, school locations where a love for nature is developed, and education of the utmost value to budding youth. Athletics for both sexes is taught for the better de- velopment of children in all ways -mind and body.
