A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~LMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE FOLLOWING DES-
CRIBED PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET, LYING ~]D
BEING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
14IAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AND BEING THAT PART OF
BISCAYNE STREET AS SHOWN AS AN 80 FOOT RIGHT-OF-
WAY AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 6, AT PAGE 77, AND
PLAT OF SOUTH BEACH PARK OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BE CLOSED AND VACATED
AND RETAINING A UTILITY EASEMENT FROM THE WEST
PROPERTY LINE OF JEFFERSON AVENUE, PRODUCED SOUTH
ON THE EAST AND BISCAYNE BAY TO THE WEST.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been desirous of con-
structing a marina facility; and
WHEREAS, that portion of the street known as Biscayne
Street as appearing in the legal description below is required
for the marina facility;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~4ISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the following described portion of a certain street,
lying and being within the corporate limits of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida and being that part of Biscayne Street as shown as
an 80 foot right-of-way as recorded in Plat Book 6, at page 77, and
Plat of South Beach Park of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, be closed and vacated and retaining a utility easement
from the West property line of Jefferson Avenue, produced South
on the East and Biscayne Bay to the West.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July , 1983.
