I am pleased to inform you that the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department
has been selected to promote 7 of our recently renovated facilities in the 2007 FRPA Journal
Facility Showcase publication. Renovations to the Flamingo Park Pool pg. 12, Tot lot and
Football Field pg. 18, North Shore Park & Youth Center pg. 33, Miami Beach Golf Club-
Golf Course pg. 39, Scott Rakow Youth Center Ice Skating Rink pg. 43 and Muss Park Tot
Lot pg. 47 were all highlighted in this publication.
The Florida Recreation & Park Association (FRPA), established in 1942 is a highly
recognized association committed to attaining industry excellence in the field of parks and
recreation.
