On July 12, 2000, the City Commission approved the City' s One Year Action Plan for Federal funds.
The One Year Action Plan is an annual document that outlines the housing and community
development activities that the City of Miami Beach will undertake with funds received from the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The One Year Action Plan includes the
funding recommendations for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and the Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG)
program. Since the Action Plan is a planning document and an annual application for the federal
entitlement funds, the document, as attached, was submitted to HUD Friday August 1 lth prior to the
August 16 deadline.
