Regarding the proposed amendment to Ordinance No. 1901 Retirement System for General
Employees going before the City of Miami Beach Commission on July 26, 2000 as item R5G, the
Budget Advisory Committee makes the following recommendation. We stro~ngly recommend action
should be deferred until the full long term impact to the City of implementation by the General
Employees Pension System as well as the remaining pension plans can be determined.
