Proposed Capital Improvement Plan and FY2007/08 Capital Budget
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to provide the City Commission with information
regarding the FY2007/08 Proposed Workplan and Budget.
This year's FY2007/08 Proposed Workplan and Budget-in-Brief was delivered to each of you
for your review on Saturday, August 25, 2007. The Proposed Operating Budget will be
reviewed during the Budget Workshop that will take place on August 30, 2007.
The FY2007/08 Proposed Capital Budget will be distributed by the end of this week. This
proposed document will be submitted for review at the Finance and Citywide Projects
Committee and General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee joint workshop scheduled for
September 20, 2007.
Kathie Brooks and Jose Cruz are available to meet with each of you, individually, if you like,
to provide a more detailed overview. If you wish to meet with them, please contact Sailyn
Christiansen in the Office of Budget and Performance Improvement (OBPI) at extension
4588 to schedule a meeting.
