SUBJECT: LOBBYIST REGISTRATION
Dear Mr. Goodman:
Pursuant to City of Miami Beach Ordinance No. 92-2785, (amended by ordinance No. 2000-3243
section 2-482 entitled "registration"), on even numbered years, all registered lobbyist are required
to pay $125.00 in addition to the $25.00 registration fee to help defray administrative cost. If you
are no longer lobbying, please notify the City Clerk's office to remove your name. (See attached
list). If you are an active lobbyist, please complete the attached Lobbyist Biennial Registration
form, insert a check for $125.00 and mail to the City of Miami Beach, City Clerk's Office, 1700
Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach, FL 33139.
This letter is also a reminder that pursuant to the above ordinance section 2-485 regarding
lobbyist expenditure, all lobbyist shall submit by October 1st of each year, a signed statement,
under oath, listing all lobbying expenditures in the City of Miami Beach for the preceding
calendar year to the City Clerk's Office. A statement shall be filed even if there has been no
expenditures during the reporting period.
