A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A LIMITED EDITION
SERIGRAPH PRINT ENTITLED, "THEATER", DONA TED TO THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH BY THE ARTIST, ROMERO BRITTO
WHEREAS, the artist, Romero Britto, has offered to donate a limited edition serigraph print
(print) entitled, "Theater", to the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the City accept the print and that it
be placed in the outer foyer of the City Manager's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a limited edition serigraph
print entitled, "Theater", donated by the artist, Romero Britto, be accepted and that it be placed in
the outer foyer of the City Manager's Office.

SERIGRAPH PRINT ENTITLED, "THEATER", TO THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH BY THE ARTIST, ROMERO BRITTO
SUBJECT:
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission pass the attached Resolution.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Romero Britto has donated to the City ofMiarni Beach a Serigraph Print entitled "Theater" that
was done by Mr. Britto. This donation was presented to City Manager Jose Garcia-Pedrosa and
Deputy City Manager Sergio Rodriguez on April 8, 1996 by Mr. Romero Britto, who asked that it
be displayed in the outer foyer of the City Manager's Office. The Work now adorns the wall of the
reception area of the City Manager's Office.
CONCLUSION:
The donation from Mr. Romero Britto should be accepted by the Mayor and City Commission.
