Please be advised that I will be out of town from Wednesday afternoon, January 10, through
Wednesday, January 17, 2001, returning to the office on Thursday, January 18.
The purpose of this absence from the office is to attend the International City Manager's Association
(ICMA) Hispanic Network Conference in San Antonio from January 10 - 14, 2001, where I will be
a moderator. Secondly, I will be attending the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington D.C. from
Monday, January 15 - 17, 2001, along with Mayor Kasdin, where we will be presenting the City's
Legislative Agenda to the Congressional Delegation.
In my absence I am appointing Assistant City Manager Christina Cuervo to act on my behalf. You
