Code Enforcement personnel were notified of conditions upon their arrival and inspection. They notified the Building Department, and after review and inspection they determined that the building was not habitable. Further, there was an extensive amount of exposed wiring and the switch boxes and access panels were exposed and in dangerous conditions. In light of the cold weather, it was determined that residents were likely to use electric heaters and blankets which could overload the system and possibly cause a fire. The building will continue to be closed pending corrections to various violations. Please contact me if you have any questions.
