COMMUNITY WORKSHOP TO RECEIVE INPUT FROM RESIDENTS
REGARDING BELLE ISLE PARK AND ISLAND AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS

A community workshop will be held to receive input from residents regarding Belle Isle Park and Island
Avenue improvements. Workshop flyers (see attached) were sent to residents of Belle Island. The workshop
was listed in City meeting notices in the MIAMI HERALD Neighbors, the City's web page and Channel 20.
The Media Relations Director is preparing a press release regarding the workshop which will be distributed
to the local media.
A separate workshop is planned to receive input from Venetian Island residents regarding the Venetian
Causeway Master Plan. Please disregard the previous Letter to Commission No. 228-2000 which announced
a joint workshop for the park and causeway projects.
