SUBJECT: SIGNAGE SURVEY COURSE SCHEDULE
The Florida International University, School of Architecture and Design in a joint project with the
Society for Environmental Graphic Design and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority
present the following signage survey course schedule:
The classes will meet in the First Floor Conference Room, City Hall.
* Thursday, February 22, 2001, 6:00 p.m.
Development of consecutive imagery and wayfinding systems.
Speaker: Craig Berger, Director, Direction Philadelphia, Foundation for Architecture
* Wednesday, February 28, 2001, 5:30 p.m.
Presentation to the City of materials developed to date.
Completion of draft message schedule with locations.
City and stakeholders will review the materials at this time and return the materials
with comments on March 14, 2001.
Begin development of interpretire components, such as sign system, lighting,
landscape.

* Thursday, March 8, 2001, 5:30 p.m.
Preliminary presentation of interpretire and wayfinding components.
Speaker: Wayne Hunt
The class schedule for the remainder of March and April needs to be continned. You will be advised
