A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2000-
24186 WHICH SET THE DATES FOR THE YEAR 2001 CITY
COMMISSION MEETINGS, AND RESCHEDULING CITY COMMISSION
MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28, 2001, AND CHANGING THE
CITY COMMISSION MEETING DATES FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL
2001
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.04 of the Miami Beach City Charter the City Commission
shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by ordinance or resolution; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2000-24186 established the City Commission meeting dates
for the year 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Administration was requested to change the City Commission meeting
dates for the months of March and April, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends changing the meeting dates as follows:
1. The April 4, 2001 Commission meeting is canceled and rescheduled for
Wednesday, March 28, 2001, and
2. The April 25, 2001 City Commission meeting is canceled and rescheduled for
Wednesday, April 18, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the Mayor and City Commission
hereby approve the amended dates for the months of March and April 2001 as set forth herein.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 14th day of March 2001.

ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the Resolution.
ANALYSIS:
The Administration was requested to change the City Commission meeting dates for the months of
March and April, 2001. Pursuant to Section 2.04 of the Miami Beach City Charter the City
Commission shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by ordinance or resolution.
Presently the City Commission is scheduled to meet on the following dates: March 14, April 4, and
Apri125,2001.
The Administration recommends the following meeting dates for March and April:
1. The April 4, 2001 Commission meeting is canceled and rescheduled for
Wednesday, March 28, 2001, and
2. The April 25, 2001 City Commission meeting is canceled and rescheduled for
Wednesday, April 18, 2001.
