A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING JOSE A. QUINTANA
AS A MEMBER OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD TO REPRESENT GROUP
ONE EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Mayor and City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, a Certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors who
conducted an election on June 4, 1996, for the purpose of electing a member of
the Personnel Board to represent Group One of the City employees; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission have examined the Certificate and
herein wish to accept the results of the election; and
WHEREAS, there were a total of 157 votes cast; with 79 votes cast for Jose
A. Quintana, 77 votes cast for Dale W. Luckett and 1 vote cast for Ley Sejas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Certificate of the results of the Group One
Personnel Board election are hereby accepted and that Jose Quintana, having
received the highest number of votes cast, is found to be duly elected to
represent Group One employees.

PERSONNEL BOARD - GROUP ONE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH EMPLOYEES
STATE OF FLORIDA
COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify, that we held
and conducted an election of the member of Group One employees of the city of
Miami Beach, at City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, on June 4, 1996, for the
purpose of electing a member of the Personnel Board to represent Group One; that
at the close of the polls, we proceeded to open the ballot box and count the
ballots, and found the results of said Election to be as follows:
THAT there were a total of 157 votes cast.
THAT:
II votes were cast for Jose A. Ouintana
TI votes were cast for Dale W. Luckett
01 vote (write-in) was cast for Ley Seias
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto set our hands and seal at Miami Beach,
Florida, on this 5th day of June A.D. 1996.
