SUBJECT: SELECTION CO ITTEE FOR PARKING METER COLLECTION RFP
On November 29, 2000, the City Commission authorized the issuance of Request for Proposals No.
9-00/01 for parking meter collection services. Responses to the RFP were due at City Hall on
February l, 2001.
The Selection Committee will meet in early April 2001 to evaluate the proposals to the RFP. I am
considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the selection committee:
James Stamos, Financial Analyst III, Parking Department
Jorge Montes, Financial Analyst III, Finance Department
Begonia Calcerrada, North Beach Business Owner, Hola Amigos, Editor
Marlo Courtney, Transportation and Parking Committee
Regina Suarez, Chairperson, Commission on the Status of Women
Lois Burkerr, Middle Beach Resident
Clark Cook, Executive Director, Miami Parking Authority, Retired
If you would Hke to recommend individuals to serve as Evaluation Committee members, please
advise me by May 03, 2001.
