SUBJECT: EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR THE BEACHFRONT CONCESSION
On February 21, 2001, the City Commission approved Resolution No. 2001-24256 authorizing the
Administration to issue a Request for Proposals for the Management and Operation of Beach front
Concessions on the beaches seaward of Lummus Park, Ocean Terrace and North Shore Open Space
Park, Miami Beach, Florida.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the evaluation committee.
Samuel I. Burstyn, P.A., Miami Beach Resident
Pablo Cejas, PLC Investments
Laurie Holtz, Audit Committee Member
Timothy Hemstreet, Special Assistant to the City Manager
Vivian Rodriguez, Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation, Director
Amadeo Lopez-Castro, Chairman of the Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade County
Ira Nusbaum, Marine Authority, Chairman
Henry "Hank" Oppenborn III, Operations Supervisor, Beach Patrol
Wyatt Porter-Brown, Beach Preservation Committee, Chairman
