ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION Adopt the Resolution. ANALYSIS The Miami Beach Fire Rescue Department transport fees provide needed revenue to offset budgetary costs. The proposed annual budget for the Rescue Division for Fiscal Year (FY) 2008/09 is $14,236,679. Revenue for Rescue Transports is projected to be $1,300,000 at the current fees as set by the City Commission. It is anticipated that the County will raise their transport fees this FY although the amount of the increase has not been set as yet. CONCLUSION The Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Commission adopt the attached resolution approving and authorizing the transport fees subject to and effective upon approval by Miami-Dade County.
