About the Author: A Miami resident for 62 years, Seth Bramson, who is the Company Historian of the Florida East Coast Railway and the founder of the Miami Memorabilia Collector’s Club is the nation's senior collector of Miami memorabilia and Floridiana. His collection of FEC Railway and Florida transportation memorabilia is the largest in the world: it is larger than the state museum's collection and larger than the Flagler Museum's collection while his collection of Miami memorabilia and Floridiana is the largest such collection in private hands in the country. A graduate of Miami Beach High, Seth is also a graduate of Cornell University's famed School of Hotel Administration. He holds masters degrees from St. Thomas University and Florida International University, both in Miami. Currently on the faculty of Barry University (where he teaches in the Health Services Administration program) and Florida International University (where he is Adjunct Professor of History and teaches all of the University's south Florida and Florida history courses) he is the author of more than 60 articles and 14 books, all dealing with Florida transportation and south Florida local history.
