Event: Mardi Gras Carnival
Date: Friday, March 3, 2017
Time: 6:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.
Location: Flamingo Park (999 11 Street)
Enjoy a fun family night at this year's Mardi Gras Carnival with live music from the Miami Beach
Jazz Ensemble, magic show, arts & crafts and more! Admission is free, wristbands for rides and
carnival games are $5 and refreshments will be for sale. Call 305.673.7779 for more

Date: Saturday, March 4, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m.
Location: Washington Dog Park (2nd street & Washington Avenue)
Bring your pooch for a morning filled with tail-wagging and sloppy kisses! Join us for music, a
costume contest, photo booth pictures and doggie giveaways. A suggested donation of $5 is
encouraged to benefit local animal rescues of South Florida, in conjunction with the Caine Film
Festival.
Event: Senior Bingo Night at Parrot Jungle
Date: Tuesday, March 14, 2017
Time: 6:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.
Location: Jungle Island Tree Top Ballroom (1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, FL 33132)
The City of Miami Beach will host a Senior Bingo night, where guests will enjoy an evening of
refreshments, food and fun. The event is free for seniors, and transportation will be provided
from designated pick-up locations.

Location: North Shore Park Youth Center Auditorium (501 72nd street)
All participants of the Special Population program, for adults with developmental disabilities, are
welcome to attend.
Event: Pop-Up Recreation
Date: Thursday, March 23, 2017
Time: 2:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Location: Procurement Department (1755 Meridian Avenue)
The Parks and Recreation Department will be "popping in" on different City departments once a
month, to bring some fun to the workplace.
Event: Parks & Recreation Comic Con
Date: Friday, March 24, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. — 4:30 p.m.
Location: Scott Rakow Youth Center Gymnasium (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
After-school participants of all ages will participate in this event as the City's Teen Club provides
participants with giveaways and a day full of entertainment. The event will feature a Spiderman
bounce house, dunk tanks, photo booths, face painting and live performances from their favorite
superheroes. Merchandise will be available for sale.
