February celebrates love and Black History Month! Join us for this month's festivities.
Event: Black History Night
Date: Friday, February 3, 2017
Time: 6:30 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.
Location: North Shore Park Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue)
Come celebrate and enjoy cultural performances by the City's after-school participants and
special guests. Admission is free, and refreshments will be for sale.
Event: UNIDAD Valentine's Day Party
Date: Thursday, February 9, 2017
Time: 12:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Location: UNIDAD Senior Center (7251 Collins Avenue)
Seniors registered with the Senior Program at UNIDAD and/or North Shore Park are
welcome to attend.
Event: Movie in the Park
Date: Friday, February 10, 2017
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: South Point Park (1 Washington Avenue)
Join us for a fun night under the stars as we present a box office hit. Admission is free, and
don't forget to bring your blanket!
Event: Special Population Valentine's Party
Date: Saturday, February 11, 2017
Time: 1:30 p.m. — 3:00 p.m.
Location: North Shore Park Youth Center Auditorium (501 72 Street)
Participants of the Special Population program for adults with developmental disabilities will
enjoy an afternoon of dancing, singing, games, hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
