SUBJECT: SABRINA COHEN FOUNDAT • N — ADAPTIVE BEACH DAYS
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the Mayor and City Commission that the Sabrina
Cohen Foundation will resume the increasingly popular "Adaptive Beach Days" on
Sunday, April 2, 2017. There will be some minor changes to the program which includes
moving the program to the first and third Sunday of the month from 11 am to 3pm and
due to construction at Allison Park the beach access point will be relocating to the dune
access path immediately north of its former location. This crossing is very short (approx.
30ft) and is very close to the northern lifeguard stand.
We are very excited to start this incredible program back up again and are forever
thankful of Sabrina Cohen for partnering with the City to bring a much needed and very
fulfilling opportunity to our residents and tourists alike.
