SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to R-?.uest for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -006 -AK, for
Public Safety Radio Network
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -006 -AK, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm for
Public Safety Radio Network.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. The
responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria
established in the RFP. On February 16, 2017, LTC #087-2017 approved Adrian Morales, Director
of Property Management, City of Miami Beach, to serve on the Evaluation Committee. However, Mr.
Morales is unable to participate on this Evaluation Committee. Therefore, this LTC is requesting the
addition of Mr. Robert Hundevadt, Director of Public Safety, Miami Beach Convention Center,
Spectra Venue Management, to the Evaluation Committee in lieu of Adrian Morales.
The composition of the Evaluation Committee will now include:
• Steve Feldman, Lieutenant, Police Department, City of Miami Beach
• Gina Ferguson, Assistant Director, Department of Emergency Management, City of Miami
Beach
• Lazaro Guerra, Communications Manager, Fire Department, City of Miami Beach
• Robert Hundevadt, Director of Public Safety, Miami Beach Convention Center, Spectra
Venue Management (Retired MBPD Captain)
• Sarah Saunders, Code Compliance Manager, Code Compliance, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Larry Bornstein, Lieutenant, Police Department, City of Miami Beach
• Jay Fink, Assistant Director, Public Works, City of Miami Beach
• Joe Vina, 911 Communications Manager, Department of Emergency Management, City of
Miami Beach
