Morales, City Manager March 9, 2017 Evaluation Committee Relative to Public Safety Radio Network mission equest for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017- 006 -AK, for The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017- 006 -AK, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm for public safety radio network. The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. The responsive proposals will be reviewed by an evaluation committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP. On March 1, 2017, LTC #119 -2017 was issued notifying the Mayor and City Commission of the evaluation committee that I have appointed to review and evaluate proposals received pursuant to the RFP. The purpose of this LTC is to inform the Mayor and City Commission that I am also appointing Mark Taxis, Assistance City Manager, to participate on the evaluation committee for this RFP. Mark Taxis oversees the City's technology infrastructure and, as such, will be a valuable resource on this project. Accordingly, the composition of the evaluation committee will now include: • Steve Feldman, Lieutenant, Police Department, City of Miami Beach • Gina Ferguson, Assistant Director, Department of Emergency Management, City of Miami Beach • Lazaro Guerra, Communications Manager, Fire Department, City of Miami Beach • Robert Hundevadt, Director of Public Safety, Miami Beach Convention Center, Spectra Venue Management (Retired MBPD Captain) • Sarah Saunders, Code Compliance Manager, Code Compliance, City of Miami Beach • Mark Taxis, Assistant City Manager, City of Miami Beach am also considering the following individuals as alternates in the event an evaluation committee member is unable to participate: • Larry Borstein, Lieutenant, Police Department, City of Miami Beach • Jay Fink, Assistant Director, Public Works, City of Miami Beach • Joe Vina, 911 Communications Manager, Department of Emergency Management, City of Miami Beach Please let me know if you have any questions.
