SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017- 074 -WG, for
Interactive Digital Media Kiosks
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017- 074 -WG, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s)
for interactive digital media kiosks. On March 1, 2017, LTC # 122 -2017, among others, approved
Roger Buell, Assistant City Engineer, Public Works Department, Marlo Courtney, Senior Managing
Director, Goldman Properties, Tonya Daniels, Director, Office of Communications, Adrian Morales,
Director, Property Management Department, and Mel Schlesser, Owner, Jameck Development Inc.,
to serve on the Evaluation Committee. Additionally, Ivannia Van Arman, Executive Director, Lincoln
Road Business Improvement District, is being added to the previously approved Evaluation
Committee.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFP.
I am now considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Roger Buell, Assistant City Engineer, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Marlo Courtney, Senior Managing Director, Goldman Properties
• Tonya Daniels, Director, Office of Communications, City of Miami Beach
• Adrian Morales, Director, Property Management Department, City of Miami Beach
• Mel Schlesser, Owner, Jameck Development Inc.
• Ivannia Van Arman, Executive Director, Lincoln Road Business Improvement District
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• David Gomez, Senior Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Projects, City of
Miami Beach
• Diego M. Lopez Medina, Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Projects,
City of Miami Beach
• Luis Soto, Assistant City Engineer, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
